What gets stored
With an account: your email address and your reading positions. Without one, the site keeps your reading spot and settings in your own browser’s storage — they never leave your device until you sign in and choose to keep them.
Cookies
A sign-in cookie so you stay signed in, and local browser storage for your reading settings. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics that follow you anywhere else.
Two kinds, kept strictly apart: the practical kind (sign-in links) that the site can’t work without, and the optional kind (an email the day each new chapter is out) that you opt into and can end with one click, forever.
Payments
Nothing is sold on this site, so it never asks for card details. Books bought on Amazon are between you and Amazon.
Deletion
Ask, and it’s gone — the account and everything attached to it. Write to me from the address you signed up with.
